Some even whispered that she had gone so far as to travel secretly to the Shaper’s Steps archipelago off the northeastern coast, to speak with the elders there and bring them under her protection. But such rumours have always dogged Clann Chonchobhair, despite decades of wise rule some people cannot forget that they are human and therefore prone to reckless action.
