Season of Renewal

Officially adopting the position of Reconnaissance Officer, Rumann spent most of his time in Siabhal investigating the Iarla's concerns about rebellious Riders. His findings were compiled and presented to the Band in his Report.

One of the missions assigned by The Thane involved investigating a recently uncovered tomb in the area. What the Gallóglaigh found there was actually the final forge of Micheál the Reforger of the Hundred Heroes, and they retrieved a magical artefact that was revealed to once have held Micheál's notes on his final and greatest creation, an impenetrable suit of armour. Sadly Micheál was murdered before he could finish his work but the artefact allowed Rumann to channel some of Micheál's power, protecting the armour of his colleagues during the climactic battle against the False Heroes.

As a Peacesworn, Rumann cannot serve the Band in the traditional ways. Instead he acts as an advisor and mediator, both within the Band and for groups that are willing to pay for such assistance. He also leverages the contacts he has made amongst noble and mercantile families to secure resources, particularly artisan goods from Siabhal such as parchment and glass. He even has several arcanists on retainer that can create valuable magical artefacts. As a Peacesworn, Rumann cannot serve the Band in the traditional ways.
