It is possible The Everlasting Dominion bear no ill-intentions towards Tirneach, and decisions regarding them are certainly above our station, but there is no harm in gathering intelligence on a potential future opponent.

Significant hostile groups the Band has encountered in the past and expect to face again.

(OOC Note- all information on this page is based on IC knowledge and assumptions, and thus may be inaccurate).

The Breaker Heresy

A cult of those that wish to destroy the Shaper’s work, especially mortals. Those of the Breaker Heresy believe in a false figure known as the Breaker. This fictional entity is seen as a sort of Anti-Shaper said to encourage Breakers to tear down the physical world as well as the institutions and societies that reside in it- they consider killing the most devout followers of the Shaper to be the highest form of worship. Breakers consider the idea of something or someone enduring or lasting as anathema.

The cult exists as a series of discrete cells across the Five Realms, meaning that finding and destroying one is unlikely to have much impact on the others, but ending their destructive rampage is worth the effort. The cult is believed to be led by a figure who identifies as The Wrecker, believed to be a Creidhe with the ability to unmake with a touch, but there are few solid details, and it is unknown how such a dispersed group can receive orders from a single individual.

Those interested in investigating or tracking down members of the Breaker Heresy can contact the Reconnaissance Office, Duarcan MacUltan or Briste for more information.

The Riverborn

Uasan swamp cultists. The Riverborn believe they follow the ancient pre-Réig religion of Uasa, worshipping the Spirits that live in the rivers and lakes of that Realm. However, those Spirits were long ago replaced by Gwyllt, manipulating the Riverborn into committing foul deeds and damning their souls.

During Cumhacht Na Réig’s first campaign in Uasa, shortly after the formation of the Band, misguided Riverborn attempted to destroy dams in the region, hoping to flood the city of Corroch. The Band managed to stop the Riverborn, but also suffered their first casualty- Broc Meabhair.

Any time the Band visit Uasa the Riverborn will be a concern. Those interested in investigating or tracking down members of the Riverborn can contact the Reconnaissance Office or Briste for more information.

The Everlasting Dominion

A country somewhere across the Shaper’s Sea to the east of Tirneach. At the moment very little is known about the Everlasting Dominion- it is believed they are ruled primarily by Leasiar who do not utilise the Candling Ritual. Historically they have shown little interest in the Five Realms, but recently they have sent representatives to Siabhal, where they have made a display of attending parties hosted by the most important families of the Carmine Circle. We also believe it is possible they were involved in the death of Réig Maeláine on The Shaper’s Steps, though we lack sufficient testimony to prove it. The Everlasting Dominion struck directly against the Band in Bruid, assassinating Nocent, a Peaceslayer Leasiar who had apparently been an important General in the Everlasting Dominion before he Candled, and had supposedly committed crimes so heinous it left him with the Slayer's Mark and inspired the Dominion to send troops across the Sea to kill him.

Those with any information or interest in the Everlasting Dominion can contact the Reconnaissance Office.
