The Weeping are reviled outcasts and vagabonds.
Playing a Weeping
If you are playing one of the Weeping, you could be a former thief or bandit who stole to survive, joining the Gallóglaigh either to work off a debt or just to be able to earn enough money to eat. Perhaps you fought in gladiatorial pit fights to get by and want to put those skills to better use. Maybe you dreamed of being a great mage and, barred from the grand halls of learning, became a self taught mage on your travels and joining the Gallólaigh to finally have a place to hone your craft.
Whatever your character’s route to joining the Gallóglaigh, it was definitely a harsh one filled with obstacles. From the day they are born until the day they die, tears of blood seep from the eyes of all Weeping. As a result of this the Weeping are a target of mockery, scorn, and suspicion across the land of Tirneach. A Weeping will often be driven out of a settlement by villagers armed with rakes, shovels and torches, fearful that they will spread whatever strange disease they must harbor. Others take their appearance as a natural warning of treachery that would be foolish to ignore. All whisper and speculate what deed could be so terrible that an entire species would be cursed with such a burden.

Weeping Facebook Group
Players of Weeping characters can join the Weeping Facebook group to collaborate with their fellow Weeping players on things like culture, backgrounds, etc.
Costuming Requirements
All players of Weeping characters must represent their tears of blood with facepaint or makeup.
