Fiadh Ó Daimhín
Fiadh Ó Daimhín is a farmer, arcanist, and fighter from Siabhal. Mother to Maedhbh and Chonchubhair Ó Daimhín, she joined the Gallóglaigh to earn money to provide luxuries for her sprawling extended family. She was a member of the band "MacArthur's Gryphons" until its disbandment, after which she tried to return to farming life but found that it no longer suited her, so she signed up with the newly formed "Cumhacht na Réige".
Notable events
A Season of Loyalty
Fiadh joined the Gallóglaigh band "Cumhacht na Réige" at its inception, swearing her oaths to the Réige and to the then Thane.
A Season of Seeking
Those who took part in the missions at the Season of Loyalty, Fiadh among them, were blessed by the Shaper.
A Season of Graves
While on a mission into the depths of Draíod Fiadh was absorbed by the Sluagh King, losing her sense of self almost entirely. She was rescued by the rest of the team and pulled out by Ultan Twinspear, who was also able to give details of how to ritually return her control and personality to her. Briste performed the ritual to bring her back to herself. Later the Sluagh King attacked the camp in an attempt to reclaim her, and she was almost absorbed a second time while trying to use its focus to draw it into a trap for her colleagues to defeat it.
A Season of Grief
Fiadh was joined in the band by her daughter, Maedhbh, for whom she feels huge pride and large amounts of parental worry!
