Season of Grief

The Sixth of the Five Oaths events, that took place between the 11th and 14 of August 2023 in Collon Scout Camp.

Event Blurb

The Shaper’s Steps is a mysterious archipelago off the coast of Siabhal, said to be the remains of the land bridge called down by the first Réig in their march from the Eastern Reaches to bring the Shaper’s wrath down upon the Gwyllt. Little is known about the inhabitants of these islands, save that they do not recognise the authority of the Réig, Eastern Reaches, or any other worldly authority over them.

Rumours have long spread about these reclusive islanders living on the Shaper’s last addition to the world, rumours made all the more intriguing by the fact late Réig Maeláine Uí Chonchobhair died on an official visit to the Shaper’s Steps, and terrible storms around the island, as well as increased Gwyllt attacks, made any official investigation impossible.

With word of a prolonged period of calmed seas and more normal (but still dangerous) Gwyllt activity, current Réig Tiernan Mac Aonghusa has dispatched Chumhacht na Réig to the Shaper’s Steps on a mission to investigate the fate of the last Réig, find out the current situation of the island, and open diplomatic channels with them.

Mystery, intrigue, and potential answers await on the Shaper’s Steps...
